Heard from an old school friend after a long time today and had this huge emotional turmoil .. all the events just flashed in front of my eyes.. and yes I had a total 360 degree review of my life. Those times when you are ruled over by your emotions and reason doesn’t appear anywhere close to you. 'Loneliness' expresses the pain of being alone.. but yes.. we do have the much glorified 'Solitude' that indeed is the GLORY of being alone. We all need this space at times. The time and space all of us need to go through a Catharsis- the cleansing process... We all need this solitude...in love..in friendship..in every relationship!!!"You will get over it.. it is the clichés that cause the trouble" the saying is true by all means. Kahlil Gibran is one of the very few authors whom I have read.. He in his creation'Madman' once said..." I will have both freedom and safety in my madness..the freedom from being understood.. the safety of being alone..." this kinds of sums up all the much felt feelings reappearing every now and then... Some songs also kind of capture this much talked about Solitude. One which comes to my mind first if 'Tanhayee' from Dil Chahta He..one of my favourite movies of all times...
Just right kind of picturisation renders life and depth to the message the song is trying to convey..Sonu Nigam just amazes me every time with his soulful voice and unbelievable feel. The lyrics of this one just stands out with every single word complementing the other... and the end result was one fantabulous song..
