Back to where you belong... !!!!

Life teaches you some fabulous lessons at times... those moments which will help you view things and people with a fresh perspective a brand new outlook..all those same old things and people seem very different to you then..helps you mould a new outlook about things in general and bring back that zest to live ...love...let love be...Life actually then goes in circles..and starts again from where you thought was the end.. that fab journey through the once trodden path...

Those moments when you start yearning for that safety blanket...the security of a relationship..when you want to view things differently and come out as a new individual altogether after the catharsis... this particular song from the Tamil movie "Paarthale Paravasam" conveys this looking back and rectification amazingly well.."Azhage sukhama" is an unbelievably soulful song..Srinivas Sir and Sadhana Sargham have just done 110% justice to this marvellous composition by ARR.

Sometimes it so happens that you realise what you thought was the right choice you made..the right decision you took...needs to be relooked into..but you hesitate to accept it and withdraw into the shell of indifference... but a moment comes when you crave to come out of it to the world of emotions..the much beautiful world which will make you laugh..cry..love..and live..that moment when you start 'living' and not 'existing'... 'Azhage sukhama' tells you about that much needed push which we all must have in life... to refine the person in you ..into a much more accommodating..and understanding individual..

One song which will let you go back to where you belong.. and realise the worth of the ones you left somewhere in your journey of life… that ‘U’ turn to the right destination.. when you find your safest corner in this unforgiving world..when you start living your life afresh, safe in the shadow of your loved ones..and feel secured… It is never too late to correct things.. to say that you care..to show that you love..every moment is an opportunity..make the most of it…never keep it till tomorrow to convey what you feel… a feeling when eyes will be yours and dreams will that be of your loved ones’…

“Fence me in..the world is too big out here…and I don’t like it without you.. and when it gets cold in the winters of my grief..I will surrender and listen to the heat of my heart..”

For a better tomorrow..!!!!!!!!!

This one song had taken back seat for a long time. Thanks to Prashanth,my very good friend for reminding me of this one yet again..and for telling me to look beyond the reasons attached to the temporary detachment I had..:) thanks a ton! One song which makes me experience a lot of beautiful emotions every time I listen to it..one song which made me a much more intense worshipper of the legend ARR ..one song which is synonymous to peace...that is 'Vellai pookkal' from the Tamil movie 'Kannathil Muthamittal'. Maniratnam sir's stunningly brilliant movie which will make you experience love..pain..the joy or parenting..the bliss of motherhood..a million such fab emotions. Music that was made so haunting and divine..music that is so close to reality..music that is a journey between reality and dreams..

The album had one amazing bunch of singers rendering their voices to it making it one stupendous piece of art..It is one song you can listen to through out the day and night..one song you will wish never ended..one song which never left me..no matter how many other songs I heard after it was composed..specially the lyrics of the song so apt and so intense..it rightly captured all the emotions the song wanted to convey..Vairamuthu is one fantabulous lyricist who gave soul to this amazing composition.. a magical tune from the magical composer..one song where all the barriers of language and culture will vanish and where just music will reign..

One song that is so full of hope..positive vibes..a song that will give new life to your dream of a new sunrise amidst all the engulfing darkness..It is true that "Music creates order out of chaos..for melody imposes continuity upon the disjointed.. and rhythm imposes unanimity upon the divergent.."It is absolutely true that we cannot appreciate the miracle of a sunrise unless we have waited in darkness..'Rahman's haunting voice will bind you to the soul of the song and will take you to the unknown heights and depths of music..where you just let yourself free of all worries and heartaches.

Let's not give up on that hope of a better beautiful world to be in..where everyone will see the beauty of rain drops falling and feel the hustle of the gentle breeze passing through the fields cutting across all barriers..let's not stop dreaming about that much awaited tomorrow..where you will see white blossoms of that 'perfect someday'.. let's believe that this is what furthers and perseveres...

"Peace is not something you wish for..it is something you make...something you do..something you are and something you give away... there is no way to peace...peace is the way.."

Longing…!!!!!

To long for something… its an amazing feeling… you never get tired of doing that..I have loved this too.. have always been fond of the silence of night.. the longing it brings along.. the hopes and dreams of a new sunrise that is covered in its unknown depths…where you set your mind at ease and let it flow…

Sometimes I feel that we are all prisoners in the glass house of dreams.. from where can see sunrises and sunsets and you live in the hope of being able to get into the world outside where you have always wanted to be…I have always wished for hope to be like stars.. the darker the night..the brighter they shine..and that you should live your life to the fullest that in the end..when it’s the sunset of your life…there will be nothing left for the inevitable to steal from you..

We should keep this spark alive.. the longing to live.. to smile..to love..to be loved..One song that has been haunting me…and which is so profound in its lyrics is ‘Shauk he’ from the movie ‘Guru’. It was used as Meenu’s (Vidya Balan’s)theme music in the movie and undoubtedly remains my favourite track from the album. Kudos to Soumya Rao, the exceptionally talented singer for her exceptionally brilliant singing!!! You are just fabulous..stay blessed!Gulzar sahib’s lyrics is divine it has that heavenly touch as ever!

We are all here to ‘live’..not just to ‘exist’..Like Ayn Rand once said.. “Do not let the spark in your soul perish..in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach..The world you desired can be won, it exists, it is possible, it is real..its yours….” Instead of thinking about what we are missing let’s think about what we have that others are missing...life becomes much more pleasant that way..you feel blessed

Let's long for that spark..the spark of a dream in our lives..a new hope and a new sunrise..and when todays’ sun has set to sleep in the silence of another night..let me long to keep that spark of my dream alive..and close my eyes listening to the soulful song of my hope.... I long for!!!!

“Though my soul may set in darkness, it will rise in perfect light, I have loved the stars too fondly ..to be fearful of the night…”
