Until..!!!

You sometimes tend to take things totally for granted. Some things seem insignificant to you, but in real they actually turn your life around and make you realize that you should have taken a little more care… can remember a trillion such things that happened till date…Seems like today is that ‘someday’ when life till date start reflecting in front of eyes like a recap..

Never knew a cough that was bothering me for a long time would take the form of an interesting illness that will take my ‘breath’ away…literally…lol..never knew one such thing as ‘caste’ which I had only seen mentioned in my SSLC certificate will be a reason for letting go of the most priceless and precious thing of life..didn’t know that being too open and honest actually pays its price..small things do make a difference.. Sometimes one word that you really ‘care’ needs to be said at the right time. Never take that for granted...They say it’s a wonderful feeling when you lose all that you have this very moment and get them back..but to be brutally honest..it does not happen always..still you wish for it.. :) that’s the way of life

One song that reflects this emotion is ‘Kitni baatein’ from the stunningly brilliant movie ‘Lakshya’. One song that caught my attention the very first time I heard it as a caller tune in my kid bro’s phone … (Thanks Kanna for making me wait for you pick up the call…your proud sis :) lol )Still wondering how I missed it when I watched the movie!! Soothing.. soul stirring and touchy..that’s ‘Kitni baatein’ for you. The lyrics is just mesmerizing!

No matter how careful you are .. at times you have this sense that you missed something ..there is this feeling that you rushed right through the moments where you should have been paying attention . .. so listen to your mind..and just give voice to your thoughts.. don’t always hold back

I have always felt that “You never leave someone behind, you take a part of them with you and leave a part of yourself behind….” Sometimes you need to learn what changes you need to make to turn your life around and then go for it.. rather than letting the life you dreamt of get washed away in the storm ..right in front of your eyes…!!!Indecision brings its own delays.. so just don’t keep it for another day… what you can do..or dream you can.. seize it this very moment..so that some days and years down the lane you don’t sit and take a sigh of regret for something you didn’t say or do..because not really all the treasures on earth can bring back one lost moment of your life.. so just go for it.. live in such a way that memories will be part of your happiness..

“The doors we open and close each day decide the lives we live….I find that the further I go back, the better things were, whether they happened or not..”

What if????!!!!

I am all of a sudden reminded of this Tamil movie 12B. It was actually speaking a movie with a different script but didn’t click well with the audience. It captures two ‘lives’ of the hero. One where he misses a bus and one where he actually gets into the bus. Yes the question there again is ‘what if?’ It is amusing to think how it would have been if things were otherwise.(Guess this surprise break from routine is really making me ‘Think’ lol)

Life does not always give you a choice. It seems at times that this life too short or rather too small for the word ‘hate’. I have discovered that when you are left with no choice you kind of disconnect yourself from what you truly want and all that is left is compromise. That is when you tend to pose this question to yourself. ‘What if things were otherwise?’ Like someone rightly said, “When you have to make a choice and you don’t make it, that is in itself a choice.” Some times you cant’ have what you are longing for even if you sacrifice everything else for it.

Some situations in life make you wish to go back to how it was before. To bring back those memories and moments. To walk through the same ways yet again and to dream those dreams once again. I am just wishing for something like the rewind button in a music player. Don’t feel the need of the ‘shift delete’ button anymore. If you could actually get there and change or correct things which led you to where you are this moment. Quite a realistic wish I see :)

Hariharan sir has always amazed me with his soul stirring voice. ‘kaash’ remains an all time favourite. This particular song did not get noticed when compared to the title track of the album. Mesmerizing is what I can call this track ‘Jhoom le’ from the album ‘Kaash”.

This one song for all those memories that I want to bring back ..those moments and those smiles…those smiles and tears..those hopes and dreams dreamt. Life indeed takes twists and turns. Sometimes you long to get back right there and might not really be able to do that. Doing so you kind of end up living these two rather strange ‘lives’ simultaneously and to end up in a state of bewilderment. But yes the truth is there is only this moment..there is only this..or else life is yours that you will miss..so make the most of it.. walk in the rain.. feel the breeze.. dream of dreaming yet again..

“Where ‘you’ used to be..there is a void in my world.. I see myself constantly walking around that during day time and falling in at night.. And I am glad then I didn’t know it all would end the way it all would go.. Am afraid you don’t want me to say anything. These words may stay forever in my heart locked inside..may be there are words locked inside you too.. May be I will never know.. what if???!!!”

Sunshine!!!!!!

Well.. I know this is a little off the track :) But I had to write this for him..It was love at first sight :) He just was so adorable and I just felt like cuddling him the very next moment...Am talking about the divine one in my life..Shanku aka cuddly poo!!!!!

Have never seen any one of his age enjoy music like the way he does.. It was just sheer pleasure to watch him go off to sleep in my arms..and the few hours I spent with him was unbelievably amazing.. As always, I made him also listen to "Fuzon"..and when 'Neend na aaye' was being played in Govind's violin.. I could see that spark in his eyes and we just could connect really well!

Was speaking to his mom today morning and she said how he would not sleep with out music :) It gave me a good reason to smile :) and be happy about the fact that 'future as always is bright..' There is this unique thing about him...the too hard to beleive it's real kinda innocence.. the million watts smile...and his awesome tastes in music...

This song is for you.. May there be a lot of pleasant sunrises in your life.. Let there be hopes and dreams...smiles and happiness always..Here I baptise you as the sunshine of my life...just your thoughts make me believe that this world has not lost yet lost its innocence.. Hope you always see smiles among tears..may you always see all the goodness in this world... I adore you ..I so wish this innocence remains with you even when you grow up... May you only see clouds of dreams in your bright blue sky...

One amazing song for an adorable cute little cuddly poo... "Indira" (1995)was a brilliant movie and the songs were too good to be real... the ARR magic works wonders as always..Both the versions are equally beautiful..can't really say which one is better..

"The few wonders of the world only exist while there are those with the sight to see them.."

Kaash....!!!!!!!

It feels like a journey through the greenest of the greens...where you can hear nothing but sounds just natural and serene... Hariharan.. that is him. All out there who heard him singing once 'Kaash eisa koi manzar hotha' from his album ' Kaash' will feel the same.

'Kaash' is a musical extravaganza. The entire album is so full of life.. so real and natural. There is no word play.. no extra musical instruments.. just simple soothing music..the perfect blend of everything... Each song so different from the other yet something common about them...the very originality of tunes...

It is characterized by this freedom of style and structure which makes it worth to be called an extravaganza!!! If you take ' Jhoom le' it is an elegy on life.. an elegy on existence..! But 'Kaash eisa koi manzar hotha' is a different take altogether....

"Whenever I close my eyes, letting my mind wander to a red house set amidst the greenest green. My mind rocks to the gentle wind that makes the littlest noise passing through the yellow leaves that pave the path. My eyes will search for the ancient gramaphone, with enough youth still in it to turn me one more soulful ballad...."
